I saved my basil after and a little from before the frost to propagate to keep in my kitchen this winter. Having herbs in the winter is a great way to still have some fresh flavor, add nutrient density and color to your meals. Dietitian turned homesteader
How being a dietitian shaped my homestead journey: My background is as a disordered eating dietitian. I am a firm believer in how restriction treats us mentally and physically. I have seen first hand how people’s lives have been impacted by food, but also how their life impacts their relationship with food.
